About Me
I have been a businesss owner since the fall of 2004 when I started Kolb's Lawn care. Many of my customers began asking about the viability of installing store bought underground electric pet fencing. These units are not very good so I researched and found Contain-A-Pet electric pet fencing. This is one of the largest in the country with an excellent reputation. I became a dealer. One of the requirements was that I become a professional dog trainer. I received my training at Pawsitive Dog Training School for Dog Trainers in Milford, Massachusetts. Mark MacRae, Master Trainer/Owner, is one of the best in the country. He has trained people from across the country. His intensive, hands-on training exposed me to all breeds and temperaments. His main credo was consistency. Once you know how a dog "thinks" the rest is easy.
After my training, my love for dogs became a passion. I first trained my own dog, pictured above, and then began my second business, Great Lakes Dog Training, which has been very rewarding. There is nothing more rewarding than to see the transformation of a ill-mannered dog into a well-behaved dog. My customers have all been surprised and extremely happy with their "new" dog.
As a lover of dogs, I am now a contributor to the Save-A-Pet foundation. My goal is to ensure that all pets and their owners have a happy and fullfilling life together. Remember: a dog is man's best friend and with proper training, the life of the owner and pet are both enriched.
